What is Acupuncture?
Originating over 5000 years ago Acupuncture forms part of Traditional Chinese medicine. Designed to promote the body to rebalance and self-heal naturally. This is achieved by strategically inserting tiny needles into acupuncture points. Acupuncture is holistic which means your whole life is taken into consideration for diagnostic purposes.
What is Integrative Medicine?
Integrative Medicine (IM) is healing-oriented medicine that takes account of the whole person, including all aspects of lifestyle. It emphasises the therapeutic relationship between practitioner and patient, is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate therapies.
A modern approach
William did his thesis on lifestyles as part of his degree. He focused on a lifestyle called minimalism. He is an advocate of keeping life simple. Simplicity equals happiness. His lifestyle recommendations are based upon this.
